Engaging tech fans with the world's best-selling gadget magazine
Working on Stuff's print magazine gave me a wealth of experience in visual and content design - crafting exceptional designs and art directing talented creatives.
Overview /
A glimpse into my print design work as Senior Designer at Stuff magazine.
I was responsible for:
Creating engaging designs for Stuff’s monthly print editions.
Mentoring a design intern, providing guidance and feedback.
Art directing world-class photographers and illustrators.
My background in editorial design has helped shape my digital design skills
With a first-class BA Hons degree in Graphic Design, I spent the first 7 years of my career at Haymarket Media Group. During that time, I worked across various publications, honing skills that have been crucial to my success as a UX designer.
Here’s a few of the things I gained:
A sharp eye for detail and precision.
Experience delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
Strong content design and copywriting abilities.
Mastery of grids, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Print design was just one aspect of my role at Haymarket - I also worked on apps, websites and social media. But that experience has given me a unique edge in visualisation, something that sets me apart from many digital designers.
